Welcome to Gasthaus Krombach, a place where traditional dishes and Berlin specialties meet a wonderful Old Berlin atmosphere. Our inn is characterized by warm hospitality and a family environment.

We are looking for a dedicated full-time cook who would like to be part of a kitchen team in an owner-operated restaurant directly on Kurfürstendamm. As a cook, you will be responsible for preparing cold and hot dishes, from classic Berlin knuckle of pork to hearty stews and tender Königsberger Klopsen. Your tasks will also include creating synergies between the kitchen areas and monitoring legal work regulations, such as hygiene and safety regulations.

What you can expect:

- Prepare and present traditional, high quality food in compliance with our quality standards

- Comply with and implement applicable sanitation and safety standards

- Control inventory and ensure proper food storage- Comply with dietary and allergy requirements of guests

- Instruct and assist kitchen staff in food preparation.

What you should bring:

- Completed training as a cook or comparable qualification in the restaurant/hotel kitchen

- Careful handling of food

- Safe and efficient operation of common kitchen equipment

- Knowledge of all food hygiene and safety regulations

- Hands-on, resilient and team-oriented personality

- Good organizational skills for budget planning and purchasing

- Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays

- Very good written and spoken German skills

Wir suchen einen engagierten Koch / Köchin in Vollzeit, der/die Teil eines Küchenteams in einem inhabergeführten Restaurant direkt am Kurfürstendamm sein möchte. Als Koch / Köchin wirst Du für die Zubereitung kalter und warmer Speisen zuständig sein, vom klassischen Berliner Eisbein über deftige Eintöpfe bis hin zu zarten Königsberger Klopsen. Zu Deinen Aufgaben gehört auch die Schaffung von Synergien zwischen den Küchenbereichen und die Kontrolle der gesetzlichen Arbeitsvorschriften, wie Hygiene- und Sicherheitsvorschriften.
